At Hurghada Diving Centre, we understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled to ensure clarity and fairness for all guests.


Trip & Activity Cancellations by the Guest

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund or free rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a 50% refund or rescheduling, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.

Course Cancellations

  • Course deposits are generally non-refundable once training has begun.
  • If a course is interrupted for personal reasons, remaining dives or sessions may be rescheduled where possible.
  • Certification fees are non-refundable once processing has started.

Liveaboard Cancellations

  • Liveaboard trips are subject to stricter cancellation terms due to advance reservations.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the liveaboard operator’s policy and the notice period.
  • We strongly recommend travel insurance for liveaboard bookings.

Weather & Safety Cancellations

  • If diving is cancelled due to weather, sea conditions, or safety concerns, alternatives such as rescheduling or refunds will be offered where possible.
  • Safety decisions are final and made in the best interest of guests and staff.

Refund Method

Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on banks and payment providers.
