  • Pricing: All prices are quoted in the currency specified on our website or in your booking confirmation. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, although confirmed bookings will honor the price agreed upon at the time of confirmation, unless there are unforeseen government taxes or charges imposed.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via [List accepted payment methods, e.g., credit card (Visa, MasterCard), bank transfer, cash upon arrival]. Any transaction fees associated with your chosen payment method are your responsibility.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Our specific terms regarding cancellations and refunds for various services (Daily Diving, PADI Courses, Safari & Liveaboard Excursions) are detailed in our dedicated Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please refer to this policy for full details on eligibility, timeframes, and applicable fees. By booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined therein.

4. Diver Requirements & Medical Fitness

  • Certification: All certified divers must present their valid dive certification card (physical or digital) and logbook (recommended) prior to any diving activity.
  • Medical Fitness: All participants undertaking diving activities (including Discover Scuba Diving, courses, and guided dives) must complete a PADI Medical Statement prior to participation. If you answer “Yes” to any question on the medical statement, you must obtain prior written medical clearance from a physician, specifically stating you are fit for diving. Failure to provide such clearance will result in the inability to participate, and standard cancellation policies will apply.
  • No-Fly Time: Divers must adhere to recommended surface intervals before flying. For single no-decompression dives, a minimum 12-hour surface interval is recommended. For multiple no-decompression dives or multiple days of diving, a minimum 18-hour surface interval is recommended. Longer surface intervals are always safer.
  • Right to Refuse Service: Hurghada Diving Centre reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual deemed medically unfit to dive, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or otherwise posing a safety risk to themselves or others, without refund.

5. Equipment

  • Included Equipment: For daily diving, a 12L tank and weights are always included.
  • Rental Equipment: Full diving equipment (mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator) is included for daily diving trips. For courses, or if you require additional items like dive computers, Nitrox tanks, or dive torches, these are available for rent at an extra cost, unless otherwise specified in your booking.
  • Personal Equipment: Divers are welcome to bring and use their own equipment, provided it is in good working order and meets safety standards.
  • Damage/Loss: Customers are responsible for any loss or damage to rented equipment due to negligence or misuse.

6. Safety & Conduct

  • Adherence to Instructions: All participants must strictly follow the instructions and decisions of their PADI Instructor, Divemaster, or boat crew regarding all diving activities and safety procedures.
  • Responsible Diving: We promote responsible diving practices and expect all divers to respect the marine environment by avoiding contact with marine life, not collecting souvenirs, and adhering to environmental guidelines.
  • Alcohol & Drugs: No alcohol or drug consumption is permitted prior to or during diving activities.
  • Disruptive Behaviour: Hurghada Diving Centre reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, or endangers themselves or others, without refund.

7. Changes to Itinerary & Services

  • Weather & Safety: Diving activities are highly dependent on weather conditions and sea state. Hurghada Diving Centre reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel any trip, course, or itinerary due to safety concerns, adverse weather conditions, unforeseen operational issues, or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., government regulations, marine park closures).
  • Compensation for Changes: In such cases, we will offer alternative dates, alternative dive sites, or a refund as per our Cancellation & Refund Policy. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by the customer (e.g., accommodation, flights) due to such changes.

8. Liability & Insurance

  • Exclusion of Liability: Hurghada Diving Centre, its owners, employees, instructors, and agents shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, damage to property, death, or inconvenience sustained by any participant during any activity, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, unless prohibited by Egyptian law.
  • Mandatory Dive Insurance: All divers are strongly recommended to have valid and comprehensive dive insurance that covers diving accidents, emergency medical treatment, and hyperbaric chamber therapy. For professional courses (e.g., Divemaster, Instructor), valid dive insurance is mandatory.
  • Travel Insurance: We highly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, interruptions, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and personal liability.
