Costs

The Cost Includes

  • Dedicated PADI Instructor Mentor: One-on-one guidance, coaching, and support throughout your entire Divemaster training.
  • Structured Training Program: A well-organized schedule covering all academic, watermanship, and practical components.
  • Unlimited Diving Opportunities: Dive as much as possible to gain experience, practice skills, and reach your 60 logged dives. This includes all necessary tanks and weights for training and fun dives.
  • Boat Trips: Extensive use of our comfortable dive boats for all open water training, practical applications, and assisting duties.
  • Access to Dive Center Facilities: Use of classroom, filling station, equipment wash areas, etc.
  • Dive Site Access: All relevant local dive sites accessible from the beach or boat.
  • Lunch & Refreshments: Provided on board the boat during full-day boat trips.
  • Internship Opportunities: Gain real-world experience assisting instructors and managing dive operations.
  • PADI Divemaster Certification: Upon successful completion of all performance requirements, exams, and 60 logged dives.

The Cost Excludes

  • PADI Divemaster Crewpak: Required PADI learning materials (manuals, slates, eLearning code, Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, professional logbook). This is a significant cost and must be purchased separately.
  • PADI Divemaster Application Fee: Paid directly to PADI upon completion of the course for certification.
  • Personal Dive Equipment: As a professional, you are expected to own a full set of personal dive equipment (mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, dive computer, cutting tool, surface signaling device, whistle, SMB, compass, dive slate). Rental is not typically included for professional courses.
  • Emergency First Response (EFR) Course: If you do not have a current EFR certification (within 24 months), you will need to complete this course separately prior to or during your Divemaster training.
  • Accommodation: Your lodging and accommodation expenses in Hurghada.
  • Meals & Drinks: Any meals or drinks beyond what is provided on boat trips.
  • Medical Examination: Cost of a medical examination by a physician (if required to sign your PADI Medical Statement).
  • Marine Park Fees / Local Taxes: Any applicable local marine park fees or environmental taxes.
  • Dive or Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance and professional-level dive accident insurance (e.g., DAN – Divers Alert Network) are mandatory for professional training.
  • Travel to/from Destination: Flights, train tickets, bus fares, or any other transport to Hurghada, Egypt.
  • Gratuities: Tips for dive center staff are at your discretion.
  • Transfers: Transportation from your accommodation to the dive center or marina (unless specifically arranged and confirmed as part of a package).
